Robert is from Raleigh, NC and has been involved in music since he was a child. He is active in his church, singing in children’s and adult choir.
Robert was born with a speech impediment, and has stuttered since childhood. To help him through speech difficulties, his parents enrolled him in speech therapy and vocal lessons. His parents, especially his mother, loves Elvis, and he grew up listening to him on cassette tapes, CD’s, and the radio.

Robert Hill Jr Selected to perform in Nashville Elvis Festival

Robert was one of only 15 contestants selected to perform at the 2nd annual Nashville Elvis Festival in Franklin TN. Robert made it through two rounds of the competition performing at the Factory in Franklin where the annual event is held.
For his first song, Robert sang "Kentucky Rain".
His second round song was "You Don’t Have To Say You Love Me"
"This is the first time i've ever competed in an Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest." Said Robert after the shows, "This has been an amazing experience, i've met so many people and learned so much from the other artists. I can't wait to come back and do more!".
